For people who regularly ask how I got my name. My father named me after his favourite comic character , ‘Trudy’ by Jerry Marcus. No kidding!

‘Trudy Ann Tellis’s family recipe is such a hit that she sells her Trudy Ann’s Bombay Masala Chai in small batches at farmers’ markets in the Vancouver area and ships packages off to fans in California and afar. The product has also inspired “the cult of Trudy Ann”—customers who follow her around town each week. “Canadians ask me two things. ‘What’s your Indian name?’ and ‘What’s your chai recipe?’ I don’t say anything,” laughs Tellis.’ Link

‘It’s not surprising to find a multicultural twist to the market. Trudy Ann Tellis sells her own, made- from-scratch, masala chai spice tea mix. Her son Rowan was busy handing out samples to a damp but eager crowd while Tellis gave The Source a quick preview of her product lineup. “Everything is done by me, from the stickers to the bagging, to the grinding, all of it.”
Tellis, whose business started when her son’s saxophone teacher offered to buy some of her tea, and who takes part in several markets across the city, loves the atmosphere of the winter market. She does most of her own shopping at farmers’ markets and likes the opportunities they give her to connect with other people.’

‘And then there's Trudy from Trudy Ann’s Bombay Masala Chai.... she is a total ray of sunshine, she reminds me of a Double Orange Champagne Punch! Yeap!
Trudy is triple bubbly, a refreshing experience with a kick!
She makes her own chai tea mix. I personally never liked Chai tea, but when this woman with the biggest smile walked over to me with a sample of her tea, who was I to say no. I'm telling you, you cannot resist this woman! She glows!!!!
So I tried her Chai tea and just like her, it was awesome! And remember people... I do not like Chai tea, but hers was YUMMY!!!!! It was fresh and tasty, not like the others that I have tried that were made from a powder form, you know.... like those big franchise coffee places...ahem!
So for Chai lovers, I fully recommend you hunt her down and buy some of Trudy Ann’s Bombay Masala Chai tea.’ Link

‘I’ve discovered the WORLD’S BEST CHAI
...I did find something epic and fantastic. Trudy Ann, the creator, is sweet & warm & hilarious, and I really enjoyed chatting with her… but I had to interrupt her when I tried her chai by saying “Holy crap, this is fantastic!” Seriously, there are no words. This is the best chai I have ever, ever had, and I drink a fair amount of chai.Seriously, it’s amazing, and you should buy some, drink it, and exclaim “holy crap, this is fantastic!” I’m not kidding. Go!’ Link
